Dr Teh is currently practicing at Specialists Melbourne, on Bay Street, Port Melbourne. She is a specialist in the field of Gynaecology and Fertility. She attained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Monash University in the year 2004. Since then, she has also completed a Masters of Reproductive Services, and undergone general specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash Medical Centre. In 2012, she joined the Reproductive Services Unit at The Royal Women’s Hospital.
She sees patients with gynaecological conditions including but not limited to the following:
- Abnormal/heavy menstrual bleeding
- Pelvic pain and endometriosis
- Contraception or menopause
- Ovarian pathology such as ovarian cysts
- Uterine pathology such as fibroids
- Endocrine disorders including PCOS
Dr Teh is one of the fertility specialists at Melbourne IVF. She looks after patients who suffer from both female and male factor infertility. She offers a range of fertility treatments including ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
She also offers a range of general gynaecological and fertility related surgical procedures including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, open surgery for myomectomy and hysterectomy, and microsurgery for tubal ligation reversal. Finally, she is fluent in Mandarin and continues to be actively involved in research, to further the field of Reproductive Medicine and thus develop improved means of treating patients.
